Samode Palace, Jaipur

The Samode Haveli is one of the ancient building of the ‘Pink city’, Jaipur. This Haveli is about 150 years old and was built by Rawal Sheo Singhji. He was the prime minster of those time in the Jaipur court and belonged to the Samode family. This majestic old mansion is adorned with beautiful courtyard, gardens and terraces. The inner courtyard of the haveli was built and used as the manor house of yhe royal family of Samode. The samode Haveli is one of the major attractions of Jaipur.   Elephant Festival Elephant Festival is a popular festival celebrated in Jaipur city of Rajasthan. It is celebrated on the day of Holi festival, usually in the month of mid of March. The festival has the features of Elephant polo and Elephant Dance which actually attracts children very much.
